On a very lazy weekend about a year ago, Bruiser sat on the couch and created about a billion logos on photoshop for this little blog idea I had. He was, of course, patient as I changed colors and ideas and designs. I woke him up the next morning with, yet another, design idea.
I didn't know what I wanted this to be and still don't. But, I wanted it to reflect me and who I am. I wanted it to be an outlet for my ideas, feelings and thoughts. And, one year later, it's has been exactly that...and growing.
I knew being from a big family would be able to explain the 10 hits a day I was getting but I NEVER expected to be introduced to people and they mention they read my blog. The support from strangers and friends and family is THE biggest compliment to me. (Ask Bruiser, I squeal with excitement when someone mentions the blog to me).
This little experiment has me stronger in my voice, in my opinions and in myself. And that, my dear friends, is what I owe you the biggest heartfelt "thanks". You give me confidence I didn't think possible.
